According to Eurogamer’s Tom Phillips, Sony still has some announcements to make in August.
He confirmed the following on his personal Twitter :
” Sony has 1st and 3rd party stuff still to announce. Feels like it has quite smartly held some stuff back. Looking forward to Xbox! And a reminder PlayStation plans to fire back in a State of Play soon after. “
He also confirmed that Xbox won’t be announcing Xbox Series S during July’s Event. Xbox will have another event in August to announce Xbox Series S and the pricing of it and Series X.
This is not confirmed by any means but Tom Philips is a well-known source. We’ll see if his sources are correct during Xbox Games Showcase in July 23rd.
